Program Overview

The Self-Employed Persons Program is designed for people who have relevant experience in cultural activities or athletics and who intend and are able to make a significant contribution to the cultural or athletic life of Canada.

Selection Criteria

Points are awarded based on education, experience, achievements, and planned contribution to Canada.

  • • Education: Maximum 25 points
  • • Experience: Maximum 35 points
  • • Achievements: Maximum 50 points
  • • Planned contribution: Maximum 35 points
  • • Adaptability: Maximum 10 points

Application Process

The application process involves submitting an Expression of Interest and waiting for an invitation to apply.
