What is Express Entry?

Express Entry is an online system used by the Government of Canada to manage applications for permanent residence from skilled workers. It operates on a points-based system that assesses candidates based on skills, work experience, language proficiency, education, and other factors.

The system ranks candidates in a pool and issues Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence to the highest-ranking candidates on a regular basis.
